By December 1st, we are asking each student to bring an item (no matter how large or small) to add to the basket for Patriot Marketplace. Seniors are asked to bring an Alabama, Auburn, or Troy item.

We have been extremely busy this year. We are working on Central America they love map skills. Please ask your child what they did each day.This will help them review. We are on chapter 7.

12/11 Update 7th Grade Geography

Hello Parents,

Our 7th Grade Geography test will include maps of Central America, South America, and Europe. They will have to label countries that we have discussed in class.

Country Project
Also when we return from Christmas break, they will have a project that will count as three major test grades for the 3rd Nine Weeks.  Each student has chosen a country, and they will need to write a report that will include:

1. Title Page
2. 1 page report of their country
3. Map of their country
4. Food Recipe from their country  

Also they will have to complete an oral presentation. They will need to include a visual aid (pictures, poster). Each student is then required to bring in a sample of their recipe for all students. This is always fun for the students.
